A year older, but still drinking wine in reusable coffee cups, guess that's part of the university-life kit right?

My last night with eighteen and I was not in the mood to party. To be fair party wasn't even a real option due to the pandemic restrictions, but I had a reservation for dinner with friends. So I put some "mood booster" playlist on Spotify (yes, the one with the cute girl on the cover with purple skies), opened a bottle of wine and chose a nice outfit. After some mascara, a little perfume, and a couple of glasses, I was feeling much better! The night went on and on, and so did the cocktail rounds (thx Derin). All I can say is, I slept like a baby and in the next day I was reborn!

Beyond doubt, one of the best birthdays ever. It went kind of like this: brunch with my "in a relationship" friends, evening drinks with the "romantically messed up" ones, and dinner with my "single" girlfriends. It's exactly what you are thinking: just like reading a marital status list, in which you end up ticking the last box - single. Officially kidding, but the detail was noticeable.

Glad to say I had fun in every single moment of this day. It was a Sunday with a sun-day, every meal I've had was exquisite, and got two birthday cakes in which one of them was a chocolate ice cream scoop with a candle on it. Furthermore, I was given incredible friends to share it all with. On the other hand, I also ignored ten slides of recorded classes, three readings and the ideal bed time. So tomorrow will hurt indeed, but I guess that's the price you pay.

Hope you guys had an amazing day too!

x.
