Hey. I have had a very ugly argument with C.

In fact, we still haven't really solved it yet and I'm still upset at him. Nevertheless, I find myself in Sweden now at Café Linné and strongly believe this oat milk cappuccino is certainly helping.

Coffee is really something. That warm feeling inside of you and the touch of the frothy foam on the top of your lips... really does something to me. Provokes this cosy, recomforting sensation and you know you can always get another one.

Coffee is love but how I wish sometimes love was a bit more like coffee. In love, there are moments when that reassurance and warmness is nowhere to be found - perhaps those would be indisputable if we also paid for it. I am kidding, I hold no intention or curiosity to remunerate my boyfriend to put up with me. Actually, the boy could use some rest...

Being in a relationship is not easy-peasy at all; long-distance relationships are even less. But, at the end of the day, you just have to pick your own battles. That is, consider whether the person you argue with is worth your time, patience and vulnerability. Can't tell you how much I've learnt from this time with Mr Lovey Dovey, but I can assure you I wasn't half the person I am today in a relationship when we began.

I realised that most times, there is no right or wrong when you argue with your partner. Neglect your ego's famous neediness, you are not in a competition or must counterattack each other's arguments (and feelings). You are a team; thus, you must try to find a solution that makes you both succeed as such.

It's often very easy to find an excuse or a loophole that makes you feel momentaneously better about yourself, but what is honestly beautiful is when two people work on each other to develop that third element you have created together - and NO, we are not talking about babies! seriously.

If there is something that stuck with me this last year is "choose the easy way out and your life will be hard, choose the hard way out and your life will be easy". Easy choices, hard life. Hard choices, easy life. Life is ever-changing - no wonder we all feel so lost all the time - so make sure you pick the one you want to get lost with.
